Cincinnati might move homeless shelter to make way for development

WKRC, a TV station in Cincinnati, reports that Cincinnati authorities are considering moving a drop in shelter for the homeless to make way for inner city development.

New construction can be found on almost every corner of Washington Park. Every corner except where the Drop Inn Center now sits. While no new location’s been selected yet, the plan is part of a much bigger project called Homeless to Homes. It involves a New City Gospel Mission, a new women’s shelter run by the YWCA, and a new Drop Inn Center.
